| This whole relationship vs. religion thing is stupid. Sure there are relationship aspects to Christianity. Christ is our brother, God is our father, Christ is the bride of his church. A relationship with God is the most glorified of all relationships, the origin of any earthly relationship-romantic, friendly, ancestoral, whatever. There are also religion factors: we have a system of belief. There is one God, etc. We have a moral framework: though shall not kill. Christ is our high priest. He was also the sacrifice for our sins. That all sounds very religious to me. And that is good. But, the fact is, God is creator, king, and is the center of all life and being. His son holds all things together. Neither relationship or religion describes all of what we find in Christ. No word can, really.

| So I think that everyone should try to win a free iPod from the following link: http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=24762325
Because if you sign up for their site by following that link, and complete an offer, and then get five other people to do the same, you can win a free iPod. This is legitimate, I've talked to people who have actually gotten theirs. So I think that you should do it. I only need 3 more people.
The offer that I completed was one for a trial to some Connections shopping service for only $1. I cancelled before being charged anymore than that, and after a few days, they gave me credit on the iPods site. If you'll do that, I'll give you the dollar. Shoot, i'll give you 2 or 3 dollars. Just try it, for me.
You can IM me if you want to ask questions. brandontmilan is my screenname

| I thought this was pretty interesting. I don't want to sound like a crazy fundamentalist, republican, kill-them-islamers-type person. I'm not that at all. If anything, I'm the opposite. I'm not totally sure if we should be in Iraq. Or Iran. Maybe afghanistan. But anyway, look at these.
Koran 47:4 “Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight),
strike off their heads; at length; then when you have made wide
Slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives”:
thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war
lays down its burdens.”
Matthew 5:11-12: "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute
you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the
same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. "
| So, I decided at some point in the past week that John Coltrane is my favorite musician. So the order of my favorite musical artists are as follows:
1. John Coltrane 2. Derek Webb 3. Bela Fleck
Following those three, in no particular order, are Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Charlie Parker, U2, and thats really it. Of course there are plenty of other musicians/bands that I like, but those are the ones who stand above the rest in my mind. Perhaps my musical knowledge isn't vast enough, I don't know. But that is who I like right now. Have a good day.
