I thought this was pretty interesting.  I don't want to sound like a crazy fundamentalist, republican, kill-them-islamers-type person.  I'm not that at all.  If anything, I'm the opposite.  I'm not totally sure if we should be in Iraq.  Or Iran.  Maybe afghanistan.  But anyway, look at these.

Koran 47:4 “Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), strike off their heads; at length; then when you have made wide Slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives”: thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens.”

Matthew 5:11-12: "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. "
