| | This whole relationship vs. religion thing is stupid. Sure there are relationship aspects to Christianity. Christ is our brother, God is our father, Christ is the bride of his church. A relationship with God is the most glorified of all relationships, the origin of any earthly relationship-romantic, friendly, ancestoral, whatever. There are also religion factors: we have a system of belief. There is one God, etc. We have a moral framework: though shall not kill. Christ is our high priest. He was also the sacrifice for our sins. That all sounds very religious to me. And that is good. But, the fact is, God is creator, king, and is the center of all life and being. His son holds all things together. Neither relationship or religion describes all of what we find in Christ. No word can, really.
